In Illinois, PointsBet opens a new physical sportsbook
Club Hawthorne in Villa Park, Illinois, is the location of PointsBet's newest retail sportsbook, which was just made public. The new facility is the fourth one that PountsBet currently has in the United States and was made possible as a result of a relationship between the sportsbook operator and the Hawthorne Race Course.
The sportsbook takes up 15,000 square feet and features a full-service bar and restaurant, 160 high-resolution TVs (including one that is 26 feet wide and five that are 160 inches), a private party VIP room, and a fully covered heated patio. In addition, there is a display that is 26 feet wide that is HD.

In other developments, PointsBet has recently debuted a brand new program titled "Count It," which is centered on the National Basketball Association (NBA) and collegiate basketball.
The program will be presented by Kazeem Famuyide, who is currently an on-air star for the MSG Network. It will be broadcasted on YouTube and all podcast platforms four times each week. The PointsBet Studio in New York City is the location of the show.
